Every piece that leaves this shop was designed, milled, joined, finished, and signed by the same person. There's no team, no factory, no assembly line. Just a dedicated woodworking shop in Southwest Michigan and someone who takes the craft seriously.
Knox on Wood builds kink furniture for people who use it — not for people who want to display it. That means structural integrity comes first. Every joint is engineered. Every hardware spec is appropriate for the load. Every finish is cured fully before the piece ships.
The shop runs a 150W CO₂ laser cutter and a 1000×1500mm CNC router alongside a full complement of traditional woodworking tools — table saw, jointer, planer, bandsaw, router table, drill press. That combination means precision work that hand-only shops simply can't match, and decorative capability — inlays, engraving, custom branding — that sets every piece apart.
The finish process starts with Shou Sugi Ban — a traditional Japanese wood-charring technique that seals the grain, adds weather resistance, and creates a texture that no other process can replicate. Then stain. Then seal. Then hardware. Then the maker's mark — laser-cut into the rear face of every single piece.
The same person who builds these pieces also creates adult content under the name Pup Knox. The furniture you see on this site appears in that content — demonstrated the way it was built to be used.
